I love lady bugs!

But this poor baby didn’t make it.

Yesterday warmed up enough for the kids and I to play outside and while they fought over the slide I snooped around in our rock garden. After stacking some rocks, explaining what a pine cone is to Ry, I just happened to catch of glimpse of this Lady Bug. Excited, I snapped a picture, called the kids over and then nudged him to pick him up so Ry could hold him. Well, no response. I put him under some leaves and told the babies that he was sleeping and we’ll come back later. :(

So, we went back to stacking rocks. :)

Look how long her hair is getting, goodmess.. i mean, goodness!

And then went inside, where Mik did not want to be.
