It’s senior year! 17 years ago, I never imagined being at this place. I only thought of this beautiful baby boy, smiling and cooing at me, and how I would always hold him close to me, smell his sweet baby hair and nuzzle my nose to his. Laying on our bellies, laughing and growing together, my number one baby and I have been through so much and it’s harder this last year of school to let go of him than it was that first year of kindergarten! I know after this year he will take all of what we have taught him, all of his experiences and will use the tools given to him to pave his own path in life. I only hope that I’ve prepared him enough and that I’m prepared to finally let go to let him live his life, outside of my safe little bubble.

Ahh, well before I get all teary eye and smudge my tattoo eyeliner here are a few of my favorite from his High School Senior portrait session in downtown Denver, complete with some graffiti and his FIRST CAR! Which he loves, almost as much as his mommy!
