A couple weeks ago I logged into Facebook, like I do every other normal day, and I see that a friend from high school had just welcomed their son into the world! Totally stoked and excited, I congratulated them and then immediate asked, “Hey! Wanna do some newborn photos?!” Lol, yes I just go right after them!

The next week when they were home and settled I stopped by and oh my goodness, this baby boy… sooo adorable! Like most of my newborn sessions, we immediately bonded and got the peeing on the photographer out of the way, after that it was smooooth sailing. Kai was absolutely perfect and had no problems with posing for the camera!

It was also just amazing to be there that day, I haven’t seen Leslee in years, probably close to a decade. We laughed about our silly teen years and we were able to catch up on her and Matt’s story of how fate kept bringing them together at different stages of their lives. They were meant to be together, and how could they not be? This sweet baby boy had been waiting for them.

So cheers to Matt & Leslee, on the arrival of their son Kai. And as always thank you for allowing me to be part of such a memorable time!
